Converted Cold-War era East German pod on trailer.
Used as glamping business for 6 years. Got the silver medal for the Best Glamping in Scotland Mostly good condition but some little fixes and painting here and there. All electrics, gas and
water have been tested and have safety certificates.
Formally a radio repair workshop, this sturdy GRP unit has been thoughtfully kitted out inside making comfortable accommodation for two. Configure as Double bed or two singles. Hot shower, macerating toilet and sink.
Features: LPG gas hob, oven and grill. 240v microwave, 240v sockets with USB, 3kW plinth heater, Air conditioner, 12v LED lights. There is a large water bowser if needed off-grid. Roof skylight for star-gazing :-)
Hot water for the shower and hot tap provided by an LPG boiler. Sadly this unit sustained some frost damage and I have not replaced it with a new unit yet. The pipework is all good though, so is
an easy swap-out.
The pod can be towed as is, but could be mounted on a large truck to create an awesome expedition camper.
